Spirits could be using their own EMF to oscillate at the frequency of a voice. People always report strange electromagnetic field (EMF) readings when an EVP is captured. A microphone works by using a coil of wire with a magnet in the middle of the coil. When there is sound, the magnet vibrates and produces a small current through the coil, which is amplified and then recorded. I think spirits are changing the frequency of the EMF they create to create a current through the coil. I am currently testing this theory with a modified gaussmaster which will let me listen to the highly amplified frequency and also count the frequency on my frequency counter.
